Welcome to SnapshotBooks (the “Service”), operated by CompoundWater. By using the Service, you agree to the terms below.
The Service turns a book’s core ideas into interactive mind maps, each card with a short quote and its source so you can check it against the book. The content is the operator’s reading notes and digested explanations; it is not a substitute for the book, nor a reproduction or abridged translation of it.
All content is completely free. The in-app “Buy Me a Coffee” tip is purely voluntary, is processed by the App Store, and unlocks no content or features.
The quotes on cards are short excerpts from the original works. Copyright belongs to the original authors and publishers; the Service uses them only within fair quotation and cites the source so readers can check the book. Where a quote is shown in translation, the card says so and gives the original.
The explanations, structure, mind-map layout and site design are copyright of CompoundWater.
The content is for personal reading and non-commercial sharing only. Unauthorized commercial reposting, reproduction, adaptation or distribution is prohibited, including repackaging it as courses, e-books, videos or products for sale.

The “Find” button on a book page links to third-party shopping sites. Those sites are run by their own operators; their products, prices, terms and privacy policies have nothing to do with the Service. Some links may include an affiliate code, which does not change the price you pay.
The content is for reading reference only and does not constitute investment, medical, legal or any other professional advice. Views in the books belong to their authors and do not represent the Service’s position. You bear the consequences of any decision you make based on the content.
We do our best to keep the content accurate and the Service stable, but the Service is provided “as is”: we don’t guarantee it is error-free or uninterrupted, or that our summaries fully match the intent of the original — please treat the book itself as authoritative.
We may add, change or remove features and content at any time, and may suspend or end all or part of the Service. Significant changes will be announced prominently on the site.
If we change these terms, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
These terms, and any dispute arising from the Service, are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), with the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.
